Traffic Club of Chicago Executive Series February Luncheon: “Industry Update” with Jeff Rogers of YRC Freight

CHICAGO, IL—Jan. 29, 2013 (James Street Media Services)—The Traffic Club of Chicago, one of the nation’s oldest and finest transportation associations, will feature Jeff Rogers of YRC Freight at the next Executive Series Luncheon on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013. Rogers will give an industry update.

“We’re very pleased to have someone of Jeff Rogers’ caliber kick off our 2013 Executive Series program,” said James Giblin, chairman of the Education Committee. “His insights into the freight industry will be very timely and valuable for anyone involved in transportation.”

Rogers, a 28-year veteran of the transportation industry, is known for his results-oriented approach to leadership. He is currently president of YRC Freight, which is a leading transporter of industrial, commercial and retail goods specializing in solutions for businesses across North America. Prior to assuming his current role in 2011, Rogers served as president of another YRC Worldwide company, Holland, which provides regional transportation service in the United States and Canada. He also worked in various operations and finance roles at YRC Worldwide, Yellow Transportation, and with United Parcel Service.
